High System Resource Messages with my laptop causes Chrome Browser freezing.

I know Chrome is a resource hog but how can I control system resources to mitigate this? My HP ENVY laptop has 16 GB of RAM.

Hello,

Thank you for posting your question on our forum and I'm sorry for the inconveniences you experienced.

It's possible to manage ABS 11 notifications using program settings in "Notifications" section.

You can reduce resource consumption in the browser itself if you do the following:
1. Close unnecessary browser tabs
2. Disable unnecessary extensions in the browser
3. Use a browser extension like “The Great Suspender”, which is available in the Chrome Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/the-great-suspender/klbibkeccnjlkjkiokjodocebajanakg)
4. Remove programs that are not needed by the OS regarding the startup menu (ABS 11 -> All tools -> Startup manager)
5.Clear free space with "One click scanner" (In ABS 11)
6. Run defragmentation (ABS 11 -> All tools -> Disk Defrag)
Looking forward to your response.

Thank you!
