3. Pay attention to the source of the errors and warnings. Look for any entries that mention antivirus software or other security-related applications. This may give you a clue as to how the viruses or malware were able to infect your system.

4. Export the logs for further analysis. If you find anything suspicious or noteworthy, you can export the relevant logs and system reports for further analysis by yourself or a professional. On Windows, you can do this by right-clicking on the relevant log or report and selecting "Save All Events As…"

To recover system settings and data:

Use System Restore

1. Open the search bar (Win + S).

2. Type in “System Restore” (without quotes), and select the “Create a restore point” search result.

3. When the System Properties page opens, click on the System Restore button.

*Note: This button will be greyed out if you don’t have any previous System Restore points to use.

Repair Damaged System Files

1. Open the search bar (Win + S).

2. Type in “command” (no quotes) and then right-click on Command Prompt.

3. Select “Run as administrator” and click on the Yes button when the UAC prompt opens.

4. On the new window, type “sfc /scannow” (without quotes) and then hit Enter.

5. Wait for the scan to finish up to 100%.

6. Then, restart your computer.

Repair File System Errors

Verify and apply all available Windows updates

1. Search Windows Update Center via Start menu.

2. Select Update & Security.

2. Select all drives and click ‘Search all files’.

3. Click ‘Next’ three times.
