We recommend making sure that the program files are not corrupted. To do this, please try uninstalling BoostSpeed and reinstalling it. You can download the installer from this link: https://www.auslogics.com/en/software/boost-speed/

There may be several factors causing slow BoostSpeed startup:

1. Insufficient amount of RAM.

Your PC has 4 GB of free RAM, which may be insufficient to perform some tasks, especially if multiple programs are running simultaneously. To free up RAM, close any unused browser tabs and disable unnecessary browser add-ons (BoostSpeed > All Tools > Add-ons Manager).

2. Multiple programs that launch at system startup.

Each program that launches at startup consumes computer resources and slows down its performance. You can check the list of startup programs in BoostSpeed > All Tools > Startup Manager > Startup Programs.

3. Large number of files on the hard drive, especially on the system drive (C:).

If the hard drive is filled to capacity, the computer may run slower, as it will have difficulty working with files. Keep your system optimized and free of clutter (BoostSpeed > My scanner).

4. Presence of viruses or other malware that can slow down computer performance. Update your antivirus and use it to scan your system. To run a malware scan, you can try Auslogics Anti-Malware: https://www.auslogics.com/en/software/anti-malware

5. Weak processor.

7. In addition, to optimize file placement on drives, we recommend launching disk defragmentation using the ‘Disk Defrag’ tool that you can access from the ‘All Tools’ tab.

8. Some performance problems on your PC may also be caused by outdated drivers. Therefore, we suggest downloading and installing correct drivers using professional software. For issues like that, you can try Auslogics Driver Updater. To install the program, please follow these steps:

- Open Auslogics BoostSpeed;

- Go to the ‘All Tools’ tab;

- Click on ‘Auslogics Driver Updater’ and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Additionally, upgrading your hardware (installing additional RAM, a fast SSD drive, and processor) can improve PC performance.
