What is the little red dot that appears on your tray icon? When it appears, what does it mean? How do you get rid of the red dot?

DSN resolution failing
I have an older PC and thus tought it would be good to get Auslogics Bootspeed 13
I did a scan and followed the recomendations
however I now regularily get the issue that the internet connection to my DNS server is gone
he tells me that the addr. cannot be resolved (see also screen shot in doc)
it seems to go away after a while, without me taking action? - but when it happens it hinders a lot.
could you please tell me that this can ideed be due to cleaning caches, optimizing settings though Bootspeed?

Driver Updater on Win 11 platform
My laptop uses Win11 OS. I get notices that several drivers need update. I start Driver Updater. Shortly later I am notified Driver Updater cannot connect to sever. This only happens on Win 11,

¿Siempre es mejor actualizar todo el software (windows, sistema operativo, apps, drivers, etc.) a la versión más reciente que se vaya publicando? o cuando todo está funcionando en forma correcta ¿es mejor detener las actualizaciones para dejar todo como está y que se mantenga todo funcionando en forma adecuada?
DRIVER UPDATER REFUSES TO CONNECT
Any idea as to why this is happening? I have registered the program in the WIN firewall, but no success. All other Auslogics software is working without a hitch.

J'ai installé CCLEANER mais crains qu'il détruise des fichiers considérés comme étant des virus mais qui n'en sont pas comme par exemple "setup.exe". Windows Defender a complètement détruits des fichiers qui n'étaient en aucun cas des virus. Je n'ai pas réussi à les récupérer.
Dois-je craindre la même chose avec CCLEANER ?

Auslogic 13 update problem
Trying to update the new version from 13.0.0.1 to 13.0.0.2 - updater stating that Auslogic 13 is running and it will shut down program and proceed with update - this goes on and doesn't work

I have been using Auslogics for seceral years now. My question is how long do the results of a scan last. I have noticed for instance that the internet settings hold goo,. the scan in clean-up are good and then the next day they must be deleted again. Does a reboot erase some of youy clean-up for tha same day? Just curious. Any info would be helpfil. Thanks.

System Tray Icon Never Loads
I recently purchased Auslogics BoostSpeed 12 and I’m running it on Windows 10 VM, the user is a Standard user without any Administrative Privileges. This brings me to the question! Can this Standard user turn on the computer and BoostSpeed 12 loads and runs automatically including scheduled maintenance?
It looks as though all is fine until I restart the computer however, it’s not, the system tray icon never loads until I start the application manually, and before it loads an administrative Password is required. Is this normal and If so is there a workaround?

Unable to open any image file via photos
I am getting an error when i am double clicking an image file, which normally used to open with "photos" app.

How do i get rid of the files that stay fragmented after defreagging ... i want to see all green or blue not red and yellow files after defrag .. are those files slowing my macjhine down and possible trojans in my system ?

Now my privacy & security > Location shows location sevices off and managed by your orginization.
How do I stop Boost from doing this and how can I turn off the anaged by your orginization and reset location services to on.
- I did reset location services once, but it was a PITA. And now I know how it gets reset.

I am 76 and live in a nursing home in NY. I have a Dell Inspiron 5570. I have my own room and use Windows 10. A predatory fire wall was installed by someone not me a few months ago. I hate it and want it unistalled. It question links I try to open in my email.
I use wi fi provided by the nursing home. I have Searched the internet and it say to uninstall it thru the programs file. It's not there.
There is a more omplicated way but I am not that literate to use it. It was likely installed by the nursing home to prevent employees from watching porn on company equiptment. But residents have their own line and work is seperate.
