In order to resolve the issue, please try the following recommendations:

1) Check if your taskbar display settings are enabled:

- Open the Control Panel (Win + R => type in control => Enter);

- Click on Appearance and Personalization => Navigation properties;

- Check all taskbar switches, enable/disable the ones you need or don’t need.

2) Check the integrity of Windows files:

- Execute the command below as Administrator (Win+R, type cmd) to find and, if possible, fix corrupt system files:

sfc /scannow

- If the scan can’t be completed, use the Deployment and Maintenance Management tool to repair the files preventing SFC from working. In the command prompt, type:

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

- Wait for the process to complete and run the SFC scan again (sfc /scannow)

- Restart your PC once the scanning is done

3) Check all Windows updates:

- Press Win + I => select Windows Update section;

- Check all Windows updates and install them;

- Restart your computer.

As for your battery issue, it might be caused by several reasons:

• Battery overheating. In such cases, the system stops charging to prevent the battery from damaging.

• Voltage is too low. The problem could be in the apartment or a specific outlet. Try plugging it in a different socket and see if that helps.

• Cord problem. The wire may break under the braid. Connect to another device or use another working power supply.
