RSVP.
Merci !

Hello,

Thank you for posting your question on our forum.

To stop Outlook from launching automatically in Windows 11 when you sign in to Edge, try these fixes:

1) Disable Outlook from Windows Startup

- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager

- Go to the Startup tab

- Find Microsoft Outlook

- Right-click → Disable

- Restart your PC

2) Check Edge Startup Settings

- Open Edge

- Go to edge://settings/onStartup

- Select Open a new tab (Not “Continue where you left off")

3) Turn Off “Automatically Save & Restore Apps”

- Open Settings

- Go to Accounts → Sign-in options

- Turn OFF“Automatically save my restartable apps and restart them when I sign back in”

- Restart and check

4) Check Edge Apps / Outlook PWA

If you're using the web version of Outlook as an app:

- In Edge, go to edge://apps

- If Outlook is listed - Right-click → Remove OR Right-click → Disable “Launch at startup”

5) Check Background App Permissions

- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps

- Find Outlook

- Click Advanced options

- Under Background apps permissions, set to Never
