Accetto suggerimenti.
Grazie mille.

Hello Lucius,

Thank you for posting your question on our forum.

Incompatible drivers such as iastora.sys (Intel RST) or other storage-related components can cause boot errors when Secure Boot validates system files. Even if you’re using a GPT drive and UEFI mode, Secure Boot performs stricter integrity checks that may flag corrupted or unsigned drivers. Additionally, having Legacy/CSM support enabled in BIOS can interfere with Secure Boot and stop it from working properly.

Try these steps:

- Boot with Secure Boot disabled, then check recovery logs (SrtTrail.txt in C:\\Windows\\System32\\LogFiles\\Srt) for specific corrupt files like iastora.sys or envirtahci.sys. Update motherboard storage drivers from the manufacturer's official website.

- In BIOS, disable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) fully, set OS type to Windows UEFI, reset Secure Boot to Factory Keys, save/exit, then re-enable it.

- Run chkdsk /f /r and sfc /scannow from Windows Recovery or safe mode to repair system files before retrying.

- Test boot after each change to isolate the issue.
