There may be a number of reasons why your PC is running slow. To boost your PC, we’d suggest a few things to try:
1. Update your OS.
2. Update your antivirus and use it to scan your system as malware may be responsible for slowing down your PC.
3. Close unnecessary tabs in your main web browser.
If the above-mentioned steps don’t help, we recommend using Auslogics BoostSpeed as it also offers a wide array of tools to clean and optimize your PC. To speed up your computer, please use the following BoostSpeed features:
1. Clean your system using ‘One Click Scanner’ tab.
2. Go to ‘Optimize’ tab and enable real-time speedup tools such as Memory and Processor Optimization, Auto Defrag, Disk Priority Manager and Desktop Protection. Each of these tools optimizes resource consumption and ensures the best speed for the applications that are active at the moment. We recommend keeping these tools enabled at all times to help things run faster on your PC.
3. Stop unwanted applications from automatically launching when your operating system starts (Auslogics BoostSpeed>> All Tools >> Startup Manager >> Startup Programs) as over time a PC builds up a collection of applications that automatically start when you turn on your PC and they may take up memory, CPU, and make it longer for your computer to startup.
In addition, to optimize file placement on drives for an even bigger speed boost, we recommend launching disk defragmentation using a ‘Disk Defrag’ tool that you can access in ‘All Tools’ tab.
Also, some performance problems on your PC may be caused by outdated drivers, therefore, we’d suggest downloading and installing correct drivers using a professional software. For issues like that, Auslogics developed a Driver Updater program that in one click checks your computer for outdated or missing drivers and updates them to the latest manufacturer-recommended versions. To install Auslogics Driver Updater, please follow these steps:
1. Open Auslogics BoostSpeed.
2. Go to ‘All Tools’ tab.
3. Click on ‘Auslogics Driver Updater’ and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
All these steps should help you speed up your computer.
If that advice does not help, we also recommend that you install 8GB of RAM and installs the OS on an SSD hard drive. We hope that this combination would work.If you need any further assistance or have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
This is a windows 10 issue, not a software issue,i would say check the amount of ram installed etc if its not an oem machine did you get the free upgrade from e.g. asus etc if so it should be compatible with your system. If not consider upgrading to an ssd upgrade your ram etc and things should start to improve.Hope this helps.
