Hi there,

I have a new laptop with a high spec. However, for the first hour each day, it runs as slowly as an old 486 machine, then suddenly it catches up with itself and runs superbly all day.

I've checked everything:
Programs in the Start menu
ESET and OneDrive behaviour
Updates behaviour
BIOS settings
Everything I can think of and a hundred things I've learned about...

I've uninstalled some of the programs, but now I'm thinking I should uninstall everything and reinstall Windows 10.

Any ideas before I try the Windows 10 reinstall?

NOTES (1) I did try the upgrade to Windows 11 when I first got the machine, however, I didn't like it and went back to Windows 10; it was slow in the short time that I ran Windows 11 too, so I don't konw if that means something, like maybe it's a hardware issue? (2) It was a demo machine in the store where I bought it.

I have just installed a new Microsoft wireless "Comfort" keyboard an mouse.Now the mouse jumps all over the screen all the time.
I have almost no control over the positioing of the pointer. Can you help?

WindowsUpdate Not working due to corrupted files & MSOffice 10 Prof does not install

My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad 110 (about 8 years old?), and has been upgraded to Win10. About 2 years I thought the WiFI adapter was intermittently giving me problems, so I installed a D-Link USB adapter. It seemed to work ok, althought my laptop gradually got increasingly and painfully slow. So, I installed Auslogic Software several months ago and achieved a marginal, but not great improvement. The WifI speed tests I run are fairly low, around 30Mbps. I do have a new desktop PC in my house and it runs just fine, and it's WiFI speedtest shows a download speed of about 150Mbps.

Today my internet provider was down, so I decided to connect my laptap via Bluetooth to my cell phone hotspot. This is the first time I have done this. I couldn't believe the performance improvement that this resulted in. But he Wifi speed test was only in the 30Mbps range.

So, I have considered buying a new WiFI adapter for my laptop, but was concerned that if it didn't improve things, I just wasted the money and I might be better off just buying a new laptop.

But I like the current of performance that I get with the laptop connected to my cell phone hotspot.

I would be interested in hearing your comments and recommendations.

Duplicate File Finder.

How can I generate a list of duplicate files like in the older versions of the software. It made is easier for me to select the files I wanted to delete without having to look at each set of duplicate files. Is it possible iwth the newest version? IF so how?

I just bought MX ANYWHERE 2S mouse. Logitech web page insists I must have the LOGITECH OPTIONS executable to parameter the mouse. So I tried to install, but the installation does not complete.

Hello - I have your Auslogics Anti-Maleware program and recently added Norton Security. Norton security runs scans in the backgound and for some reason goes after the anti-malware prgram, esentially erasing it. However it leaves my Auslogics BoosSpeed & Auslogics Driver Update prgrams alone, so they continue to run fine. Now every day I have to re-load the anti-malwar program.
I went into Norton checking the Virus & Firewall settings which are set to "allow" your anti-malway program , but it still continues to erase the entire anti-malware application. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this in Norton..?

Hey guys,

Boost Speed doesn't recognize SSD and claims that it is HDD. Yes, I am sure it is SSD, all other software recognizes it as SSD (programs like Speccy, etc.).

How can this be fixed?

Is it ok to delete the files listed after running the cleaner?

Follow up on not being able to update to Windows 10 22H2 from 1909.
I have gone through all the suggestions. Update assistant ,Media creation tool,Update troubleshooter , resetting windows update components and still get the error: initiation failed during First-Boot phase at Migrate-Data.
USB bootable disk also did not succeed. I have disabled all periferals , ran fksdsk, restore health, checked that all drivers are up to date etc.. and still get the same error.
Error messages from windows logs : Error Essent 455 Loggin/Recovery. Error Security center 17 None. Error Application error 1000 Application crashing Events. Error Security-SPP 16385 None. These occur multiple times in the log file.
I also disabled Firewall and anti virus software, all to no avail.
Any idea what else I might try ?

新しいバージョンのソフトウエアを使いたいとは思いますが、14.0.1.3購入時のライセンスで問題なく動くでしょうか？
それとも14.1.0.0を使うにあたって、また新にライセンスを購入する必要があるでしょうか？

I used a storage unit for all my files which I do not store on my computer. It's usually a "D" drive and the unit is
called My Passport.
I cannot open it at all ..... what do I need to do?
