wakeup problems
I dont turn off laptop at night. I run it with lid closed when in use.
I used to just move the mouse in the morning to wake it up, but not now.
I now have to open lid to wake it up and monitor shows large icons, clicking on Firefox gives a screen too big to use.
I then close lid to get the smaller icons that are usable.
Hitting the WIN key + P and choosing second screen only also fixes the icon size problem.
I went through all the 'wakeup' fixes I could find but to no avail.
There is a small chance this is a cat problem, I have several.
Any suggestions?

Is Auslogics Registry Cleaner suitable for servers?
It seems to run perfectly according our testings on our spare server, but can it be considered as a suitable program?
We have searched internet and we did not find any registry cleaner, especially designed for servers.

upgraging lost my registered status
Hi,
I upgraded my computer with a different motherboard, a new i7 cpu and new ddr4 memory, but my hard drives, my graphics card and sound card plus power supply are still the same. When I turned on my computer I see that my status went from registered to unregistered. How do I get it to be registered again. It's not a different computer, just upgraded.

Power options gone
I have problems Closing the lid does not work. I set it to sleep or shut down neither of them worked.When I tried to find a solutions
I entered a code to CMD and all my power plans resetted.The ones which auslogics set also gone the preset power plans.And when I set balanced again I have also have no slider on the battery icon to change it to left to battery save or right to better performance.
Now I have left with no power plans of auslogics and ultimate is gone too.Can I get them back or how ?
Can I get back my old battery icon slider when in balanced mode ?
Can I fix the closing the lid action and make laptop sleep when i close it ?

HDD 100% in Task Manager

У меня проблема с работоспособностью компьютера.
Загруженность диска 100% в диспетчере задач.
Обновлял драйвера черед Ваш Driver Updater, после чего компьютер стал дольше выполнять задачи.
Выполнил восстановление.
Запустил BoostSpeed13.
Вроде бы получилось настроить, и когда компьютер простаивает, то значения не поднимаются до 100%.
Но тем не менее, значения принимают, при выполнении задач.
Ищу решение по этому вопросу.

I did a scan and followed the recomendations
however I now regularily get the issue that the internet connection to my DNS server is gone
he tells me that the addr. cannot be resolved (see also screen shot in doc)
it seems to go away after a while, without me taking action? - but when it happens it hinders a lot.
could you please tell me that this can ideed be due to cleaning caches, optimizing settings though Bootspeed?

Diese Benachrichtigung wird mir bisher nur manchmal angezeigt oder wenn ich Boostspeed nach dem Hochfahren selbst starte; aber auch dann dauert es eine Weile, bis die Benachrifhtigung erscheint und auch hier erscheint sie nur manchmal.
Zudem möchte ich bitte gerne wissen, welche Taskscheduler und Hintergrundaufgaben von Microsoft Corporation ich im Auslogics Boostspeed Startup Manager deaktivieren kann, sodass das Windows dennoch fehlerfrei läuft; habt ihr hierfür eine "Pauschale"?

Adding WiFi to HP EliteDesk G2 TWR that does not seem to have WiFi built-in
I have HP EliteDesk G2 TWR with motherboard specs per below. I need to have WiFi as a back-up to existing LAN hardwired internet connection. It does not seem to have WiFi as option built-in. I bought Netgear Model A7000 AC1900 WiFi USB adaptor, and i installed software etc,,, but that does not seem to work either. Per motherboard specs below there would appear to be two open slots available.
1. Any suggestions as to getting the external WiFi USB adaptor that I already bought to work?
2. or do I need to get/install some sort of PCI wifi adaptor/card?

I updatet to boost speed 11 a couple of days bevor .
Is it possible to change the language into german ?
I cannot read englisch as a river is floating, i only use schoolenglish.
In boostspeed 11 there's a many stuff included, that is new for me.
I understand the window of the older version better .

I believe I have run all of the BoostSpeed tools. However, my system is now just slow...
There are long delays when switching apps (i.e., I had to close BoostSpeed with Task Manager and reopen it to avoid a interminal hour glass when opening this form)
Opening new broswer tabs can take 10s of seconds to forever. i primarily use firefox and have tried clearing the cache and cookies. The loading indicator on the tab just keeps cycling, sometimes even after the screen refreshes it keeps cycling.
I use Norton, but I do not think it is blocking anything. One thought, I may have unintentially disabled a needed start-up application I checked the interet speed here and its 1MB down and 5MB up... At home I have the same problems with >100MB. I'm using a new Lenovo Yoga , windows 10 PC.
Let me know if I can run/export anything to help you..

I've bought a WD My Cloud Home. The device states that from a storage of 7 TB there is only 1.4 TB available, although I have only stored 3.5 TB on the drive apparently it is using hidden folders for a backup process but as I also have a MyBook installed I can't find any of the settings to disable the backup process.

No thumbnails
I have WIndows 10 that is up-to-date. It has suddenly stopped displaying thumbnails of pictures (jpeg). It seems that t his is a common problem. I have taken several recommended procedures (from https://www.windowscentral.com/how-reset-thumbnail-cache-windows-10) to overcome the problem without benefit.

I keep getting a message pop up (see attatched)
I have no idea what I have done to cause it to pop up, I also have no idea how to cure it. I have the latest DirectX and as far as I know everything else is up-to-date including Windows.
Most of the time I just hide the message because if I cancel it, it pops back up. However it is now preventing me from launching Unreal Engine so I cannot ignore it any longer I need to sort it out.
Please priovide your answer in simple terms as although I am computer savvy I am no master under the bonnet,programming etc.

リモートデスクトップを使って別のコンピュータと接続しています。
スキャンを実行すると記録されていたIPが初期化されて無くなります。
除外リストに「HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Default\*」を設定しましたが、効果がありません。
他に、Microsoft Print to PDFの保存に使用したフォルダがスキャンするとドキュメントフォルダに初期化されてしまいます。これも除外リストに
「HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\*」を指定したのですが、効果がありません。
このようにWindowsが保存しているIPやフォルダを残すにはどうすれば良いですか。
