I downloaded Auslogics BoostSpeed 13 Free Edition and read about tasks that would help the speed of my laptop. The only section I used was delete unused programs. It showed me a list and I selected about seven or eight items. And later I opened
my desktop and realized I had lost about 30 shortcut Icons. Many that I still use.
I read thru the inforrmation to try to reverse my action. I used the recovery section but keep seeing a popup window telling me to
turn off my anti-virus and firewall and no data was exchanged (I used a restore date one week earlier.) I tried three different restore dates and they all failed with the same pop-up. My question -is there a procedure for correcting my mistake and possibly recovering my desktop icons? Thanks for any direction.

I log into my laptop as local user ACS_LLC but when logged in it shows my email as mikewruth@gmail.com
I have run an elevated command prompt - commands ...
I ran "sfc /scannow", and it said "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them".
I ran "DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth", and it said "No component store corruption detected".
I ran "CHKDSK C:", and it said "Windows has scanned the file system and found no problems".

When I get to the command prompt through the Recovery Window it opens as directory X: not C: and when I use the cmd X:/cd.. it does not show C: only X: drive letter

domanda: BoostSpeed 11 include già anche Driver Updater ?

... non vorrei acquistare programmi uguali ...

I think during the privacy scan auslogics turned off the location settings on my PC and the option to turn it back on is greyed out and says it is controled.

How do I get auslogics to turn location back on so programs can use that service?

Start buttons etc., at bottom of page are often off the page.
taskbar is at top of screen
reducing page size ratio is no help

I`ve recently done a deep scan with boost speed 13 which resulted in me losing all my download files from the users file. I`ve tried recovery several times using different restore points without any success. I ran advanced recovery software which tells me they have to be saved to another location. Selected drive D but still don`t see them. Is there any way i can recover my downloads with boost speed 13. ?
