In a nutshell - my desktop freezes for about 5 - 8 seconds and it seems to occur every 2 - 3 minutes. ....It just locked as I'm writting this.

my laptop is so far no problem, but everytime when i am using the file explorer, when i right click certain file, it load for a long time. My laptop is quite new, it is nitro 5 and i don't know why this issue exist, I am looking forward to solve this issue. thanks a lot!

I'm evaluation BoostSpeed and one of the ways that it will save me 3Gb of disk space is to do a Disk Defrag. My hard drive is an SSD and I thought that defragging an SSD was not advised by several well known industry experts. Please explain - Thank you!

J'ai installé CCLEANER mais crains qu'il détruise des fichiers considérés comme étant des virus mais qui n'en sont pas comme par exemple "setup.exe". Windows Defender a complètement détruits des fichiers qui n'étaient en aucun cas des virus. Je n'ai pas réussi à les récupérer.

Dois-je craindre la même chose avec CCLEANER ?

I downloaded Auslogics BoostSpeed 13 Free Edition and read about tasks that would help the speed of my laptop. The only section I used was delete unused programs. It showed me a list and I selected about seven or eight items. And later I opened
my desktop and realized I had lost about 30 shortcut Icons. Many that I still use.
I read thru the inforrmation to try to reverse my action. I used the recovery section but keep seeing a popup window telling me to
turn off my anti-virus and firewall and no data was exchanged (I used a restore date one week earlier.) I tried three different restore dates and they all failed with the same pop-up. My question -is there a procedure for correcting my mistake and possibly recovering my desktop icons? Thanks for any direction.

I have run an elevated command prompt - commands ...
I ran "sfc /scannow", and it said "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them".
I ran "DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth", and it said "No component store corruption detected".
I ran "CHKDSK C:", and it said "Windows has scanned the file system and found no problems".

When I get to the command prompt through the Recovery Window it opens as directory X: not C: and when I use the cmd X:/cd.. it does not show C: only X: drive letter

Ein TPM habe ich auch , das Op-System ist aber vom TPM und dem Prozessor befreit . Vielleicht ist der Computer zu groß oder weil es ein Server ist ?

My 'brightness control' slider dissapeared in Windows 10 and I can't figure out a way to get it back. Now the screen just stays fairly bright all the time. There also isn't one in the notifications tab that I could us instead of the missing one on the desktop.

Privacy tool taking very long to resolve issues?

Does the Empty Folders Cleaner differentiate which folders should and should not be deleted in the Windows OC? The tool identifies hundreds in my C drive, and I assume those in the Windows' System, Program Files, Windows32, etc. should NOT be deleted, but I can't tell.

I think during the privacy scan auslogics turned off the location settings on my PC and the option to turn it back on is greyed out and says it is controled.

How do I get auslogics to turn location back on so programs can use that service?

I have a persistent problem with my Surface devices. After a machine has not been out of use for some time, but is running, my bluetooth devices disconnect and I have to stop and restart bluetooth to make them operable. I have also had a problem where my network connection to the internet is disabled and I cannot see any WI-FI access points - I then have to reboot to overcome the problem.

The issues started about six months ago.

I have done the obvious things - applied the latest Windows 11 updates and checked that drivers are up-to-date?
