My 'brightness control' slider dissapeared in Windows 10 and I can't figure out a way to get it back. Now the screen just stays fairly bright all the time. There also isn't one in the notifications tab that I could us instead of the missing one on the desktop.

Problema con servidor de internet y administrador de dispositivos

Whenever I restart my pc, it does not want to connect to the internet, it appears connected but does not open internet pages, and the error solver says, it fails in the router dns, but it is not that, because in other devices it works fine, I must restart the internet modem or take out the ethernet cable until the line comes back, my service provider came and checked with his laptop, it works fine, they told me there is a problem on my pc. To connect the ethernet cable I use a HUB (photos) because my laptop does not have a direct connection to ethernet, and for some time, when I installed AUSLOGICS BOOTSPEED, I did some programming and it gave me an error in the device driver desktop, I don't know if that is doing something on my pc, I don't like to be connecting and disconnecting the ethernet cable, because it is supposed to work, no need to reboot or remove the cable. Since I installed AUSLOGICS BOOTSPEED, I HAVE GOT SEVERAL BUGS IN MY PC, I DON'T KNOW IF THEY CAN HELP ME TO SOLVE IT. I already tried everything.

A Game Application

I keep getting an error code that says 0xC0000005 (0x0) N whenever i try and boot up the application and I'm not sure what it means or how to fix it. It tells me to scan and repair the application but that won't work either. I tried placing the file but it wouldn't let me.

Protect Doesn't Recognise MS Edge

It was working for a while on Bostspeed 10, but then it stopped working. I upgraded to Boostspeed 11 because there was no support for BS10 after BS11 came out.

Запретить windows кэшировать в mapping file

Добрый день. Иногда падают игры, с ошибкой на нехватку оперативной памяти. Проблема в том что WIN10 уводит в кэш слишком много памяти. На скриншоте 1.6гб+, но это после чистки. было 10гб.
Используя RAMMap.exe выявил что те 10гб были схаваны Mapped File: standby. Почистил. но сейчас опять память утекает..
как можно отключить это недоразумение?
Служба SuperFetch отключена. Что еще может жрать память и не отдавать её?

Intermittent PC Crashes/Freezes

I intiated my original correspondence on the 5th November as indicated below:

I, now, upload the Event View Log, in the hope this will assist you in resolving this issue. Many thanks. As an aside, I think there should, also, be an option to 'Add File' from my account page. Instead, I am obligated to intiate another question to include this file and this should not be the case, when it is part of the same, initial, question.

This is a bit ridiculous. I am asked to create a log from the Event Viewer which is 'saved as' a .evtx file and now I cannot add it! Neither can I add it in a format that is recognised by Auslogics! Wow! Really, really helpful - Not!

I await an update at your earliest available opportunity.

Dear Ian,

Thank you for posting your question on our forum.

The easiest way to solve the issue is to uninstall the program that creates this error or contact their support.

Often, such errors are created by hacked software or bugs in software that can only be solved by their developers.

Running the command "sfc / scannow" in CMD under the admin might help with the issue.

You can also send to our support logs with system information and event viewer so that we can better understand the issue.

To get the system information report press Start -> Run, type in MSINFO32 and press the Enter button. Save the report using the File -> Save menu option.

To get logs from event viewer, please do the following:

1. Press the key combination "Windows" + "X"

2. Select "Event Viewer"

3. Expand the "Custom Viewer" subsection

4. Select "Administrative Events"

5. Expand the "Action" menu

6. Click on "Save all events in custom view as ..."

7. Save log to PC

Your prompt response to my request for technical support is very much appreciated.

Further to your recommendations I have now run the commend "sfc /SCANNOW in CMD under the Administrator privileges.In the event, corrupted files were found and successfully repaired.

At this stage, I think I will see if this provides system stability, before sending the associated report with the Windows Event Viewer.

battery not charging

my battery is not charging. i lost the invoice from the assus dealer in goa, india namely INTECH COMPUTERS, Porvorim, Goa. He is not giving the duplicate. checked online and saw that the warranty of this laptom expires on May 27, 2020, whereas I bought this laptop in April 2020. I smell something fishing with this dealer. took it to service centre, they say that warranty expired as above, and if at all they can help they want the invoice.

PC Crashing/Freezing

To Whom It May Concern,

In recent weeks, I have been experiencing intermittent crashing/freezing of my PC. This sometimes happens 1/3 times a day or I can go a few days without it occurring at all. It is not, actually, a BSOD - just a "straightforward' freeze or crash.

When accessing the Windows Event Log, the common denominator would appear to be identifed as follows:

Unable to open the Server service performance object. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code.

I would consider myself reasonably computer savvy, describing myself as a software 'Geek', in addition to having set-up remote computing facilities. However, this is difficult to readily identify and despite, browsing the Internet extensively, I find I cannot resolve or prevent this from crash from occurring.

The only 'fix' I have reviewed is accessing 'Windows Services' that requires the 'Server to be restarted' but as this is already running (having reset itself?) I cannot, actually, do anything:

when right click in file explorer, it load very slow

freeing Memory usage

Hi Guys,
I have noticed some apps reserves too much memory for itselfs like Google Chrome,
is it possible to get Auslogic Bootspeed 12 to free some of the memory on a regular basis, for example when it reaches 85% of usage?

also it would be nice to improve memory and CPU by disabbling things that are not required when we want to get out more performance from our PC,

The BS12 RAM and CPU optimization seems to be going into that direction, but require a little bit of more control over processes?

100% deletion of "pre-installed" software

Hi there,

I downloaded some "pre-installed" software on my computer (i.e., just need to unzip the RAR file and the software will start working; no need to manually run the installation tool). If I no longer need this software, how do I completely uninstall it? I already deleted the "pre-installed" files, but I believe my computer still has some residual memory of it. I did a registry cleanup already...anything else I need to do?

windows photo viewer suddenly missing

since years I'm using Windows Photo Viewer to see my pictures (jpg and others)

Suddenly this possibility disappeared, I think due to an automatic update of my system by Microsoft. With the option "open with", I
only get PAINT and 3D PAINT, but I'm not intersted in those programs.

I can find the folder Windows Photo Viewer in my Program Files, but this folder has two subfolders (one Eng and one NL) and both are empty. I don't understand why, because I didn't was deleting them.

I heard it is possible to restore the old PhotoViewer in Win 10 , by inserting a register- script.

Can you help me to find that script ?

Мой ноутбук иногда являет синий экран с сообщением driver power state failure. Ноутбук Hewlett Packard, ОС Виндовс 10.

Антивирус Касперский, ещё стоит Auslogics BoostSpeed 12.

Ноутбук куплен прошлой весной.

Unmount drives

Please tell me why on earth your programme needs to unmounts two drives after the defragmentation process, the one (J:\) that has been defragmented and the other one (O:\) that was not touched by any process of the defragmentation. Only restarting the Win10 operating system made the drives be mounted again, even a partitioning programme (MiniTool) did not find the drives before restart! Next question: how do I prevent this from happening again?

System Protection Blocking the BootSpeed.

Windows 10 is blocking BootSpeed when I want to open aplikation. (runs in background). This is famous request of asking a administratotor. It strated few days ago. I tryed opening as adminstartor and switched off Defender. I am rauning bootspeed 12. It is the same on 2 komputers different brand.

Store and related apps don't open

Al Microsoft apps including store will not open. I have attempted to restore the app ID service but get an "access denied" popup when clicking "apply". All other methods to restore the service have hailed as well. In conjunction, I am getting a notification that McAfee and Windows Defender are both turned off when McAfee is actually running.

I have windows installed on my SSD and HDD so how do I transfer data from one installation to the other without cloning

So I got and installation of windows on my SSD and HDD, but now I want to shift my files from HDD to SSD installation and then delete windows from HDD, but I don't want to clone(unless it doesn't clone windows installation and other files that I already installed on the SSD) my current installation(HDD) as it was pirated while the other one is legal, and by data I mean everything from text files to programs I installed, so I just want the user data and programs I installed to be shifted to my SSD without deleting windows from SSD and cloning the HDD one. High system resource usage detected

To whom correspond: A few months ago I have been experiencing a slow response on my computer.

Every day I do a scanning and resolve of issues found through this tool, however still suffering this issue.

почему, после того, как ваша программа предлагает мне отчистить корзину, после сканирования и предложения исправить ошибки, корзина остается не очищенной? у меня возникает подозрение, что фактически ваша программа только создает видимость работы, а на самом деле ничего не делает!

My windows 10 always very busiy in 15-20 minutes almost every morning. I have install auslogic and it has make my workstation
far faster then. But after 2-3 weeks my workstation is back very slow / freeze and sometime s takes more than 30 minutes before it
can be used again

The disk activity always 100% in the morning for about 15-20 minutes . Have installed also the free version of AVG
