Japanese IME Not Working After Using Auslogics Boost Speed

As it says on the title - after using Auslogics Boost Speed to clean up my computer, my Japanese IME stopped working. The options to input using the various keyboards disappeared and reinstalling the language did nothing. Restarted my computer, tried fiddling around and it won't come back. I've attached a picture of how it should look normally and how it looks now. Any help with getting it back would be appreciated.

Why is Disk Defrag & Optimize taking longer than before?

I purchased Disk Defrag, and later purchased Boostspeed. Under Boostspeed Disk Defrag I have always been able to Defrag & Optimize. I always run Defrag first (after disk cleanup), then I run Defrag & Optimize. I run these every Monday morning. I use about 19% of my 1T hard disk space. The only other programs are the automatically scheduled startup programs with staggered start delays up to 2 hours, so they should not significantly affect Defrag & Optimize.

Until 2 months ago, the longest Defrag & Optimze ran in 45 minutes or less. The maximum optimized files was about 45,000. When the Microsoft Windows update for June was implemented, the Defrag & Optimize ran over 3 hours. 2 days ago Defrag & Optimize ran for 5 hours 26 minutes with about 64,000 files optimized. The previous Defrag & Optimize was 6 days earlier.

I am a retired college educated computer professional (with all titles from programmer through analyst and manager) with over 40 years of experience. I have defragged computers for well over 25 years.

My question is "why is the Defrag & Optimize running so long and what can I do to speed it up?".

Fences Requires Reentry of Product Code Everytime BoostSpeed Runs

Hi,

I have had Fences for many years. When BoostSpeed runs its weekly maintenance, I must re-enter the Fences Product Key to re-register the product. I do this and Fences works fine again.

This problem occurred several years ago and you provided a fix where BoostSpeed does not delete/address a file required for Fences related to the product key.

Would you please re-send those instructions if that would resolve the issue or advise other solutions to resolve?

Does defragging shorten SSD lifetime?

I use a Dell Latitude with an SSD drive. I note that some people recommended that the SSD should not be defragged as it can cause unnecessary wear and tear which will reduce its life span. Every time I run Boot speed it attempts to defrag the SSD. Two questions – (1) Does it really shorten the life of a SSD if it is defragged on a regular basis and (2) If I chose not to defrag how I stop this from happening other than every time manually untick the defrag box prior to hitting the “resolve all” button.

BSODs whenever the PC is booted with the webcam plugged in

I have a Logitech C920s webcam. Everything was working perfectly fine until Wednesday evening. At that time I started doing a bunch of maintenance within BoostSpeed. Something in my system was changed, and now I get a BSOD whenever I boot my computer when the webcam is plugged in. If I remove the webcam from the USB port, then the computer boots fine.

I've run two different anti-virus programs (including your Anti-Malware) and I also have your driver updater. Plus I made sure that I have the latest version of Logitech's LogiCapture software. And it does not appear that there were any Windows updates (other than Defender) since last week.

So...at this point I cannot use my webcam and I'm fairly certain it was due to some change made within BoostSpeed.

Please help me fix this. Is there an audit log in BoostSpeed that shows what settings were changed?

BoostSpeed 64 bit version

hi,
i downloaded the booster 11 for windows 10.
the booster 11 shows as 32 bit. ideally i need a booster 11 64 bit.
i am using windows 10 on a 64bit system.

do i have to reinstall for booster 11 for 64 bit. if so, can you send me the link as it just auto-downloads the 32bit.

another questions is i have anti-malaware and everytime i shut down the computer and restart the next day, i have to reinstall all over again.
is it because of my anti-virus norton that i use? can you assist me on that as well.

Bluetooth device connects but does not work

Using Windows 11 Pro for Workstations. This is the first and only time I have used this OS so I don't have any experience troubleshooting it or point of reference. I have multiple devices, headphones and other devices that I know work for Bluetooth conectively purposes but otherwise but when I attempt to use them on this laptop, Windows tells me that the devices are connecting to the Bluetooth device I have selected but I get no sound. The only thing I can tell you that stands out and is related is that it tells me under System/Bluetooth that the device is connected but when I go to System/Sound, the connected device will not show under Sound/Outbut Device even though it shows connected under Bluetooth. I have considered reloading the OS from scrath (factory reset etc.) but really don't want to go through all that. So I am asking if you have any ideas otherwise.

Files on a portable HD take too long to defrag

Why is it taking 8 hours to only defrag 18 files on an "easystore" 5TB portable HD. 790 files on this HD is said to be fragmented. at this speed, it will take me months to defrag this HD. can I speed up the defrag speed?

Screen blacks out when using HDMI connection

Screens Blacks Out (Stops Displaying on Minor Electricity Surges from Fridge-Freezer), but only when using HDMI connection. Happens approx. every 30 mins or so, sometimes every 15 minutes.
