To fix the issue, please try the following methods below.

Method 1: Kaspersky Anti-Virus can prevent users from accessing email and other resources. Follow the steps listed below to resolve the issue:

• Launch Kaspersky and select Settings in the upper right corner.

• Choose the Mail Anti-Virus option under the Protection section.

• Click the Settings icon in the main window (located under the security level).

• Select how to configure Kaspersky to scan your email and email clients under the Advanced tab.

• Save the changes.

Method 2: First, consider when and how you will use the corresponding page when you see the message "The connection to this website is untrusted." If you don't plan on accessing it in the future, it's quicker—and safer—to allow access to it only once.

This can be done directly from the browser without even going into the settings. Keep in mind that the antivirus will show you a warning message next time you attempt to access the website. To see the reason why the antivirus considers the web resource unsafe, as well as the date when it was included in the untrusted list, click Show Details on the Warning page. After weighing the risks, click Go to the site, and the page will load.

Method 3: Configure the list of trusted sites in Kaspersky Internet Security or Kaspersky Security Cloud.

The website security checks the security of websites and online pages. If you regularly need to access the site that the antivirus considers unsafe, you can add it to the trusted list and exclude it from this check once and for all (or until you change your mind).

• Choose the Protection section, then Web Anti-Virus, from the Kaspersky Internet Security (or Kaspersky Security Cloud) settings.

• Click Advanced options in the Web Anti-Virus settings window.

• Scroll down to the very end and click on Trusted Web Addresses.

• Click Add to add a website to the exclusions list.

• On the same page, you can manage the list of trusted sites, for example, delete them.

• Enter the resource's URL to exclude its traffic from security scanning.

• Save these changes.

• Verify that the box next to Do not scan web traffic from trusted URLs is checked.

Method 4: If you have a Mozilla Firefox browser, then for a possible solution to this problem, install a certificate in the browser.

Open the browser. Click Options > Options.

Click the Advanced icon on the top right of the options screen.

Click on View Certificates.

In the window that opens, go along the path "C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP15.0.1\Data\Cert\" (just an example) and select Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Root Certificate.cer.

This folder is "hidden." Turn on the "Show hidden files and folders" option.

Method 5: Disable CCleaner at startup.

Method 7: Delete all cookies and cache.

Passwords are reset after cleaning, so you'll need to enter them again.

You can open webpages more quickly thanks to browser cache. But occasionally, the cache might become obsolete or corrupted. Occasionally, clearing your cache and cookies makes sure everything is functioning properly. Your website's loading speed could be a little slower after deleting the cache and cookies.

Proceed with the following steps for each of the popular browsers.

Using Chrome:

• Open the menu of the Chrome browser by clicking on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.

• Choose Clear browsing data under More tools.

• To erase cookies, cache, and browsing history, click the blue "Clear data" button.

• Restart Chrome.

Using Firefox

• Open Mozilla Firefox, and to access the menu, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.

• In the left sidebar, choose 'Options' and then 'Privacy & Security'.

• Click "Clear Data" under "Cookies and Site Data" after scrolling down to that area.

• Click the blue "Clear" button after checking the required boxes.

• Click the "Clear Now" button in the window that appears to confirm your activity.

• Restart Firefox.

Using Microsoft Edge

• Open the Edge browser and select the menu by clicking on the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner.

• In the left sidebar, choose "Settings" and then "Privacy, search, and services."

• In the right sidebar, select "Clear browsing data" and then click the "Choose what to clear" button.

• Make sure the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" are checked in the pop-up window, and then click the "Clear now" button.

• Restart Edge.
