Disk Doctor

Hello,

What does the MFT Zone in the Disk Doctor tab mean ?

Dear Richard,

Thank you for posting your question on our forum.

MFT stands for Master File Table which is a core of the NTFS file system. This zone cannot be moved during defragmentation as it’s reserved by the system.

That's what I thought to be reserved by the system and the user does not have to bother about its function.

I'm not familiar with those features that drew my attention, therefore I asked you.
