Disk Doctor
What does the MFT Zone in the Disk Doctor tab mean ?
Dear Richard,
Thank you for posting your question on our forum.
MFT stands for Master File Table which is a core of the NTFS file system. This zone cannot be moved during defragmentation as it’s reserved by the system.

Dear Vera,
Thank you for your comprehensive answer.
That's what I thought to be reserved by the system and the user does not have to bother about its function.
I'm not familiar with those features that drew my attention, therefore I asked you.
Cheers,
Richard
