Recently, my computer stopped being able to access my External Hard Drive. I've restarted, changed USB sockets, tried it on my Windows 7 Notebook - where it works fine. Your Disk doctor has Defragmented it and your Disk Doctor reports that it has errors but no option to fix them.

Hello, I have a curious problem on my Windows 11 PC.

I am connected directly to the LAN via ethernet to a 900Mbps fiber connection.

However, when I try to download largish files (several hundred MB or several GB) from sites like zoom, wetransfer, facebook, I often get a generic "download error" message.

I've tried download the same files on Edge and Chrome, logging out and in, opening a private/incognito window, resetting the internet settings and running diagnostics. I've also checked the internet speed and latency.

The downloads often start okay, but stop after sometimes 30-40MB or maybe even getting to 60%. Sometimes I can click on resume, but the download begins from scratch. Sometimes, I will try again a few hours or a day later, and the file(s) *might* download to completion.

Other downloads (of small image files, say) or streaming of YouTube, Netflix, etc. never seems to have a problem.

I know for sure that it's a PC configuration problem because I tried the same downloads on a Windows 10 laptop, connected to the same router via WiFi, and all the files downloaded (albeit slightly more slowly) without a hitch.

Any ideas or suggestions on what I can do next?

I'm evaluation BoostSpeed and one of the ways that it will save me 3Gb of disk space is to do a Disk Defrag. My hard drive is an SSD and I thought that defragging an SSD was not advised by several well known industry experts. Please explain - Thank you!

Ваш сканер при этом никоим образом не оценивает важность запущенного процесса для работы компьютера. По сопровождающим характеристикам определить возможность отключения того или иного процесса очень трудно. Тогда какой смысл ваших обещаний "оптимизировать работу компьютера", если инструментов, реально выполняющих эту фунцкцию в части отключения второстепенных процессов, вы не предлагаете?

I got myself in a bind and I resorted to installing a backup file.
Unfortunately I overlokked the advice that apps would be lost.
I now have a list of about 60 apps listed as "Apps removed while resetting your PC", including Auslogics programs.
Is ther any way that I can recover those apps?
I'm using Windows 10.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! I INSTALLED A PROGRAM CALLED "QUANTUM RESONANCE MAGNETIC ANALYZER" ON COMPUTER EVERY THING INSTALLED FINE, IT CREATED A DESK ICON ETC... BUT WHEN I TRY TO OPEN THE PROGRAM UP THE MESSAGE IN THE SUBJECT ABOVE IS WHAT I KEEP GETTING. I TRIED EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I RESTARTED THE COMPUTER, I DID THE SFL /SCANNOW THING, I DISABLED MY VIRUS PROTECTION, I UPDATED DRIVERS BUT NOTHING!!!!!!! IM TRULY AT A LOSS IM VERY FRUSTRATED BECAUSE I PAID OVER 100 DOLLARS FOR THE PROGRAM AND I CANT USE IT! SO CAN YOU PLEASE HELP? OR WILL I HAVE TO TRY TO SEND THE PROGRAM BACK? Здравствуйте. Сегоодня вышла новая версия программы и возникает резонный вопрос - как установить обновление? Придется полностью удалять старую версию (с помощью спецпрограмм типа Revo) и устанавливать новую? Или есть еще другой вариант?
