Ciao, non riesco ad attivare il SECURE BOOT. Il sistema risulta soddisfare tutti i requisiti ma quando abilito il Secure Boot, il sistema al riavvio va in Diagnostica e mi dice di non essere riuscito nel ripristino ... quindi devo disabilitare per poter continuare.
Ho il BIOS aggiornato ed in modalita' UEFI, i dischi in Base GPT... ma nulla

I use a VM for work and I want the sound on the VM to always be muted/zero.

If I turn the sound down and reboot the VM, the sound goes back to 100%, so there must be something running which resets volume.

If I had a PowerShell script or simiar to mute the sound, I could put it on the desktop and run it easily instead of messing about with the GUI.

Can it be done?

I run Win 11 Pro on my laptop. Until late September, I've never had an issue with the Win backup process to an external SSD drive, It's been a weekly automated process since I bought my laptop 3+ years ago. Only suddenly, it's not. It appears all the desired content from my C: drive SSD gets backed up, but whatever normally happens next fails, and I ger a message the backup didn't complete. I tried unchecking the checkbox to create a system image file, in case that was a problem. It made no difference. I tested and even reformatted the backup drive to NTFS standards. I've run out of things to try, but I still very much want a successful weekly data backup that's NOT to the cloud. Any suggestions? Thanks for whatever guidance you can offer.

I used a storage unit for all my files which I do not store on my computer. It's usually a "D" drive and the unit is
called My Passport.
I cannot open it at all ..... what do I need to do?

How to resolve / Cannot receive updates

I have an issue with Ghost Folders. After moving all the data from a folder, the folder remains and can't be found by Windows. The Folder can be opened and if other folders are in it they can also be opened but can't be deleted either, but they are visibley there. How can I get rid of them for good? I have had this issues on external drives before as well.

I have a Fujitsu scanner connected to my Windows 10 computer. It works OK. When I connect the scanner (fi-6130Z) to my Windows 11 computer, the scanner software I use (Kofax Power PDF - Version5.0), can't see the scanner. Have you any idea how I can get Kofax to find the scanner? New Driver from Windows for Windows 11? New Driver from Kofax? New driver from Fujitsu? I have not found a Driver that does the trick. Hello, I have downloaded your program to clean up my computer and it has helped a lot. It stopped crashing for a week or two but now crashes again randomly 2, 3 times a day. 95% of the time it makes a restart while 5% I have to unplug the PC to retart the PC.
Any ideas on whats happening. Don't think its a overheat problem as it sometime happens 10 minutes after I started the PC. Also tried different browser, Chrome, Edge and Brave , no difference.

After my data has been scanned, during the removal process will the data from onedrive be deleted instead of the C drive data? or will i not get a choice as to where it will be removed from? Also will the scanonltydetect files with the same name or will it be able todetect files with same name but different contents?

I am moving about 300 GB of files and data to a new computer and the C drive is almost full with 900+ gb on it. I was moving them by loading them on to an external drive and doenloading them. What could I have done wrong and how can I fix it?

I've observed an issue that shows up on Wlndow 7 and Window 11... Both are of the Professional types...

I use many computer programs and they use a lot of hardware items too... For one example I have a private observatory, and my telescope movements and its Dome movements "plus more" convert a USB slots into a multible differenet COM port uses in that busy operations... Because of this need,,, USB slots are often found jumping around a lot within their ID numbers... My trouble is both of these softwares seem to like to collect COM? into a "InUse" classification which cause port numbers to be used up and remain behind unnecessarily... Some softwares don't like high Port Number too... I am trying to find a way to clear them OUT... It appears CCLEANER or Auslogic routines don't have a way to clearn these items out... I just spent a few hours tring to find a way to clean them... No luck so far! Maybe you can point me to something I missed in my license copy of Auslogics BoostSpeed 14... I have attach a image of the pathway to where this issue shows up to help you see what I see... This should be a garbage cleaning item that would be very automatic for end users... Because of this issue, COM port use get into trouble when they get left behind... I have looked a lot into the device manager within Windows whatever with a desire to find a cleaning button... But no such luck...

So, I am looking for a way to clear them off of several computers... I did not even see a manual method... Hum....

It appears when they are not used, they don't seem to fade away on their own... "Not nice!" I tried to re-boot and other efforts without success... I spent hours today trying to find a way... "I am Stuck!" I now think this is a very nasty issue not figure out by Windows for many generations of their softwares... Some software requires exact knowledge of how the port is define wtih its number and they don't like changeds, or the software comes up with an error message or merely gets locks up... Sometimes the third party software merely jump to another number and then things sort-of keeps on working... All this does is builds up surplus InUse COM port numbers...

Help! As I used my first question ever on your site... Please put a smile on my face by giving a easy answer that will solve this trouble...
